Masterclass Practitioner – PQA HQ

Position Details

PQA provides outstanding and innovative Performing Arts training to children and young people aged 4 to 18 years.

Each week, we offer three-hour long classes in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre, and Film & Television and provide a safe and inclusive space for our students to develop performing and creative arts and life skills, find their voice, and make their own work.

As part of this provision, we offer Industry Masterclasses to all of our students at no extra cost.

Masterclasses are an amazing opportunity for PQA students to be taught by an expert in their field. This could be any aspect of the performing or creative arts- for example, stand-up comedy, stage combat, screenwriting, or tv presenting.

Masterclasses allow us to inspire students with access to specialist practitioners and provide insights and pathways into the industry.

We are currently looking for new Masterclass practitioners to deliver their masterclasses across the country.

If selected, after a trial session, your name would be added to our HQ Masterclass List. This is then made available to our principals, who are able to book you in to deliver your session.

We offer competitive rates of pay, travel expenses, and flexible working hours.

We would have academies across the UK and would particularly like to hear from practitioners based in the North of England.

You would deliver your hour-long masterclass three times in the academy session to each of our three academy groups- Green (6-9 years old), Blue (10-12 years old), and Red (13+) so please consider how you would tailor the content and delivery of your Masterclass to each age group.
